David Murphy
Physiotherapist
David joined the Aspire team in 2023 and brought his enthusiastic approach to learning and wonderful manner with his patients. David graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2019 from the University of Newcastle and went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2021 from the University of Sydney. David enjoys helping patients with various conditions has a dedicated commitment to continued learning, always looking for the latest methods to help his patients by reading the latest research and listening to the wealth of experience amongst his colleagues at Aspire.
David is like most of our physiotherapists in that he clearly understands what life is like as a patient. He was often at the local physiotherapist's clinic in his home town of Temora in Southwest NSW, having experienced injuries such as hamstring strains and sprained ankles from an early age. David experienced just how much of a difference that quality care makes to the lives of patients and this inspired his own journey into our profession. David now delivers that care and expertise and finds that is the most rewarding aspect of his own work. David played every sport that he could as a young bloke, but AFL holds a special place in his heart and he loves getting players back on the field and back to their best. Unfortunately his own sporting career has led to a broken ankle, groin reconstruction and torn plantar fascia in recent years, but he is still playing and also spending more time on the golf course these days as well.
We love that David is on our team and know that you will be in great hands as he gets you out of pain, back on the field and back to your best.
